The new Emergency Department at Mayo University Hospital will not be completed until at least the end of 2028.
The HSE Regional Forum West met yesterday, and Castlebar councillor Michael Kilcoyne asked the question as to when the works would be completed.
Cllr Kilcoyne says that he is deeply disappointed by the response from the HSÉ and has called on Mayo’s five TDs to do something about it at national level.
