More of Ireland’s coastal waters are set to come under protection under new conservation laws.
Ministers have agreed to fast-track legislation aimed at safeguarding the country’s seas and marine wildlife.
The measures are intended to protect biodiversity, support Ireland’s renewable energy ambitions, strengthen energy security, and help address climate change.
