A modular extension has been approved for a West Mayo secondary school.
Rice College in Westport has received approval for three new classrooms.
That’s according to Minister Alan Dillon.
He says he has received confirmation from the Department of Education that approval has been granted for a modular extension which will provide two extra Special Educational Needs (SEN) classrooms and one Home Economics room at the school.
The protest comes in response to the planned removal of a number of parking spaces.
