Lidl has announced the Mayo Lidl Family Carer of the Year for 2025.
Amanda McGuinness, from Balla has received the award, which recognizes remarkable commitment, strength and compassion of family carers who provide essential care to loved ones every day.
Amanda cares for her autistic children, and is also a regular columnist with The Connaught Telegraph.
Lidl announced their partnership with Family Carers Ireland at the end of last year, helping to support the caring community through the development of the Lidl Charity Champion programme.
