As Forsa members continue their fifth day of strike action, secretaries and caretaking staff have been picketing at their schools this morning and afternoon.
It’s understood talks are at a stalemate, with the union’s Andy Pike saying there has been radio silence since the weekend, from the government.
He says he would welcome a Labour court intervention, if the government agreed to abide by its findings:
Meanwhile, in Crossmolina today, secretaries and caretakers have been picketing outside their schools. Staff from Crossmolina N.S and Gortnor Abbey Secondary School say the strike will be indefinite, until demands for pension parity and better pay are bet.
