A motorway is badly needed in County Mayo.
At a recent meeting of the Claremorris – Swinford Municipal District, Charlestown based councillor Gerry Murray made the call for a motorway development from Tubbercurry to Knock, during a discussion on the ongoing N17 Knock to Collooney project.
The Sinn Féin cllr claims that several landowners and farmers within the region are being held up on their own development works, as they await clarity on the road project.
