An investigation’s underway into the discovery of a man’s body in County Donegal.
A post mortem examination is to be carried out after he was found dead in Killybegs.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene on Harbour View Drive where a man in his 60s was found unresponsive at a home.
He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time after the discovery was made at around twenty past midday yesterday.
The scene has been sealed off for forensic examination and the local coroner has been notified.
A post mortem examination is to be carried out on his body by the State Pathologist and the results will determine the course of the investigation.
Gardaí are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery and are appealing for witnesses.
