Man released without charge in galway firearms investigation

A man in his 20s arrested in connection with an investigation into the discharge of a firearm in Dunlo, Ballinasloe, has been released without charge.

Gardaí say a file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The investigation remains ongoing.
