Gardaà have arrested a man as part of an investigation into the discharge of a firearm at a residence in Dunlo, Ballinasloe, County Galway.
The incident happened on Monday, August 3rd.
The man, who is aged in his 20s, is being detained at a Garda station in the North Western Region under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
Gardaà say investigations are ongoing.
One local Councillor says its a congestion and safety matter.
