Over €16 million has been allocated for National roads across Mayo.
That’s according to Minister Dara Calleary.
Among the major projects included in the funding are €7,150,000 for the N59 Newport to Derrada road realignment project and €906,000 for works at Heathlawn and Manulla Cross on the N60 among others.
€88,000,000 has also been allocated to the N5 Ballaghaderreen to Scramoge project, which is under construction, and the N17 Knock to Collooney project has been allocated an additional €1,000,000 to progress its design.
