A major step has been announced in the Ballaghaderreen Public Realm project.
The plans have caused divide over the past number of months, with the planned restructuring of Ballaghaderreen leading to protests over accessibility for motorists and pedestrians, as well as parking.
A Mediator was appointed to resolve these concerns, and following collaborative engagement between Roscommon County Council, representatives of the Ballaghaderreen Business and Community Group and Councillors MÃcheál Frain and Liam Callaghan, a resolution framework has been agreed.
