448 admitted patients are on trolleys in hospitals around the country today.
The INMO says University Hospital Limerick accounts for the largest number of those, with 90, followed by University Hospital Galway at 46 and then Cork University Hospital.
Elsewhere 21 patients are on trolleys at Sligo University Hospital and 12 at Mayo University Hospital.
