An 18-year old-County Galway student has been crowned Miss Universe Ireland.
Aadya Srivastava – from Headford, but now living in Cross in Mayo – is studying Law, Politics and Economics at University of Galway and hopes to pursue a career in international human rights law.
She says she wasn’t expecting to win, but as “a proud Irish woman of Indian heritage”, says she wants the opportunity to “amplify the voices of diversity and resilience and be an advocate for justice and compassion.”
The move is part of the ongoing transformation of the mail business
