A large dairy manufacturer in the local area has pleaded guilty to 10 charges in relation to breaches of the Environmental Protection Act.
Aurivo Dairy Ingredients, based in Ballaghaderreen, was initially charged with 64 counts relating to breaches of its industrial emissions.
The manufacturer is a subsidiary of Aurivo.
On Tuesday, Aurivo Chairman Raymond Barlow appeared before Judge Kenneth Connolly at Roscommon Circuit Court.
He pleaded guilty to ten sample charges on behalf of the company.
