Emergency Services responded to a gorse fire between Ballycroy and Mulranny last night.
The incident saw a large area of bog along the N59 up in flames.
The fire service were tasked with bringing the blaze under control, which they carried out successfully.
A similar incident, of a smaller scale, occurred between Tooreen and Tavraun yesterday evening.
Thankfully, there were no reports of any injuries.
A search warrant was carried out by the Mayo Roscommon Longford Drugs Unit last Friday.
