Kramp – Europe’s largest specialist in spare parts and accessories for the agricultural, forest & grasscare and construction industry – located in Kiltimagh, has now acquired the existing Genfitt warehouse in the town.
The company has been leasing the existing Genfitt warehouse in Kiltimagh since 2023.
Initially, it explored options to build a new, larger premises but, after reassessing, recognised the potential of the current facility.
Reflecting on the decision, Kramp acknowledged that finding the perfect warehouse in the region had proven challenging. “We believe there is potential to increase capacity and efficiency in Kiltimagh itself. It is important for us, as a company, to retain the knowledge of the people of Genfitt as this is an accelerator for our business in Ireland”.
“We are confident that we can modify this warehouse to meet our growth projections in the coming years. With this in mind, we seized the opportunity to purchase the facility. The official contract will be signed at the end of this month”, according to Eddie Perdok, CEO Kramp Group. Kramp has over 500,000 products available online, 12 distribution centers and 24 sales offices spread over Europe.
The company was founded in 1951 and has its headquarters in the Netherlands.
