The Gaza ceasefire deal agreed by Israel and Hamas has now been ratified by the Israeli government.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet met yesterday evening to formally agree the deal after it was signed in Egypt on Wednesday night.
His office says the outline for the release of all hostages has been approved.
It means the first stage of Donald Trump’s peace plan will now begin.
