A large amount of homes, farms and businesses across the county are without power this evening as a Yellow Thunderstorm warning is now place for Connacht counties.
Areas of Ballinrobe, Belmullet, Crossmolina and Claremorris are among those affected, while over 1,600 are without power in the Turlough Road area of Castlebar.
ESB Networks say that the estimated restoration time for these outages will be between 6:00pm and 8:00pm this evening.
