The HSE Capital Plan 2025 will invest €6.7 million in County Mayo.
Health Minister Jennifer Carroll McNeill has published the national plan which sees a record €1.3 billion allocated to develop and enhance our healthcare infrastructure.
The announcement has been welcomed by Mayo Minister Alan Dillon, with 11 projects across the county included in the plan.
These projects are at various stages of appraisal, detailed design or construction.
Included are 75 new beds at Ballina District Hospital, and 50 at Belmullet District Hospital, along with a new ground floor extension to the Emergency Department at Mayo University Hospital.
