505 admitted patients are on trolleys in hospitals around the country.
University Hospital Limerick accounts for the largest number of those with 105, followed by Sligo University Hospital with 41.
Of the total number of people waiting for beds, 319 are in emergency departments while 186 are in wards elsewhere, according to the INMO.
Elsewhere, there are 37 patients on trolleys in Mayo University Hospital and 26 waiting for beds in University Hospital Galway.
