A Garda investigation is underway following the theft of cattle from an area of County Roscommon.
A farmer has reported that two bullocks were stolen from his farm at Ballyglass, Ballymacurly on April 11.
The farmer stated that he left his farm at 5:30pm that evening, and there were five bullocks in a pen in the slatted shed. When he returned at the same time the following evening, there were two bullocks missing.
Gardaí in Roscommon are appealing to anyone who may be able to help locate the animals.
Anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious, have any information in relation to the theft or have been offered animals for sale in unusual circumstances, is asked to please contact Roscommon Garda Station on 090 663 8300.
