Gardaí investigating organised crime in Sligo

A Garda investigation is underway in County Sligo into organised crime.

A major operation was reported in the Ballymote area this morning, which Gardaí have confirmed is part of ongoing investigations into the activity of an Organised Criminal Organisation.

Sligo Leitrim Gardaí are carrying out the searches in the North Western Region, with assistance from the Regional and National Specialist Units.
