The Higher Education Minister says he’s committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students on university campuses.
It comes after an influencer shared her experience of her house being targeted by students in UL last September.
Ella Deasy claims food and mugs were thrown at her home in a student accommodation complex, and Gardaí had to be stationed outside.
Sinn Féin TD Mairéad Farrell raised the issue with the Minister in the Dáil today – saying more needs to be done to protect women on campus:
