A west of Ireland school is offering €2,000 to families who enrol junior infant pupils this September.
Scoil Naomh Pádraig is in the Gaeltacht area of Clochbreac, County Galway.
It’s trying to boost numbers by getting three children from outside its catchment area to start in junior infants in the next academic year.
The grant aims to help these families with travel or rent expenses.
