Three more local authorities will hear from presidential hopefuls today.
Galway, Wicklow and Tipperary county councils will be addressed by independent’s aiming to win their support to enter the race for the Áras.
Cork and Dublin city councils both voted against backing any candidates yesterday, meaning 6 local authorities have now decided against supporting any potential contenders.
The €3.13 million allocation will go towards new trail infrastructure and ongoing maintenance at 224 sites across the country.
