The group behind landmark legal action against Airbnb hopes it will set a new precedent around companies operating in illegal Israeli settlements.
The Galway-based Global Legal Action Network claims Airbnb is money laundering profits from war crimes because it lists properties to rent in illegal settlements in Palestine.
It’s seeking a judicial review in the High Court next month – which, if successful, would require Gardaí to investigate, because Airbnb’s European headquarters are in Dublin.
