A 22 year old man who died following a collision in County Galway earlier this week will be laid to rest tomorrow.
Evan Kilmartin, from Inverin, County Galway, was involved in a three car collision on the R336 between Barna and Furbo on Sunday night last at around 11:30pm.
An investigation into the fatal collision is ongoing, and Gardaí are asking anyone who was travelling in the area at the time of the incident to please make any footage available.
Evan Kilmartin was well known in his local area, as a bar manager at the Connemara Coast Hotel. He was an aspiring DJ and events manager, with many tributes paid to him this week on social media.
Mr. Kilmartin will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family; parents Séamus and Angela, brothers Shane and Séamus Óg, sister Cliona, extended family and large circle of friends.
He will repose at Naughton’s Funeral Home this evening from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with removal from his home tomorrow morning at 11:30am.
Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow at 12 noon in Knock Church, Inverin, with burial afterwards in Knock Cemetery.
