A fundraising appeal set up to help cover the repatriation and funeral expenses of an Englishman allegedly assaulted in the early hours of New Year’s Day in Ballaghaderreen has raised almost €10,000.
Jorden Newin (39) passed away in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin after the alleged assault at Barrack Street in the town on January 1st.
A gofundme page, established to help repatriate Mr Newin’s remains to the UK for his funeral, has so far raised €9,500.
Customers in Belmullet Town and Tallagh may be experiencing low pressure.
