A number of Mayo piers have been allocated funding for essential repair works.
Minister Dara Calleary has welcomed confirmation of funding for four Mayo piers today.
Purteen Harbour E250,000; Porturlin Pier E100,000; Lacken Pier E75,000 and Rosmoney E75,000.
Minister Calleary says that this is a substantial E500,000 investment in our piers and coastal communities.
