Petrol and diesel prices at forecourts are expected to rise by up to 10 cent this weekend.
The Convenience Stores and Newsagents Association says wholesale price of diesel delivered to fuel stations yesterday was 8 cent plus VAT higher than deliveries earlier in the week.
The price of petrol is expected to go up by around 2 cent per litre.
