A Westport based councillor has expressed his frustration at the delay on delivering the Newport Treatment Plant.
Councillor Johno O’Malley raised the matter at this week’s West Mayo Municipal District meeting demanding answers from Uisce Eireann and elected TD’S as to what is the hold up.
Cllr. O’Malley says the people of Newport wants an estimated time of delivery from Usice Eireann.
He has been giving more details to Midwest Radio’s Michael D. McAndrew.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this three vehicle road traffic collision to come forward.
