Members have been left in the dark as First Choice Credit Union shrinks its business hours in five branches across Mayo without consultation.
That’s the view of Ballyhaunis based Fine Gael councillor Alma Gallagher , who read the notice on the front door of the Ballyhaunis Credit Union Branch.
The five branches that will be affected are Achill, Balla, Ballyhaunis, Swinford and Kiltimagh.
All branches are to be reduced to a three day week, with the exception of Balla which has been reduced to one day.
These changes will be implemented from June 14.
