A fire extensively damaged a house in Castlerea last night.
A number of fire brigades attended the scene of the blaze at Tarmon Manor Estate in Castlerea town at about 7.30pm.
Gardai and ambulances also attended the scene.
The fire was brought under control.
It’s understood one person was treated for smoke inhalation.
Gardai say the scene is currently preserved for examination “to establish the precise cause of the fire”.
It follows serious wildfires on Sunday that caused extensive damage to the area.

The lifeboat and her crew then made their return Achill Island, arriving back at the station at 4pm.
