Fianna Fáil has appointed local Roscommon/ Galway TD, Dr. Martin Daly, to the role of the party’s Spokesperson on health.
Dr. Daly, a GP based in Ballygar, made the announcement yesterday on his social media.
He was elected to the Dáil for the first time in last year’s General Election, and is a former President of the Irish Medical Organisation.
In a statement, Dr. Daly said that he aims to “make an important contribution and drive health policy forward in Ireland”.
