A man was fatally injured in an RTV incident in East Mayo yesterday.
The man, aged in his 60s, died following the incident that occurred in Carrabeg, outside Kilkelly, yesterday evening.
The incident occurred on farmland.
Emergency services attended the scene and the man’s body was removed to Mayo University Hospital for a post mortem examination
His name has not yet been released.
The Coroner for Mayo has been notified and an inquest into the circumstances of the death will be conducted at a later stage.
