The IFA says attempts by factories to lower beef prices are unjustified and unacceptable.
Farmers say they’re getting reduced offers for their stock despite extremely strong demand for beef in key markets such as the EU and UK.
Prices in the UK rose by almost 7p per kilo in the past week bringing the beef price to the equivalent of 8 euro 64 cent per kilo.
