The excitement is building in the county town this afternoon, with just 24 hours t go until Connacht and Munster meet in the BKT United Rugby Championship at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.
It’s the first time Castlebar will host a Connacht game in the professional era, with around 27,000 supporters expected to descend on the home of Mayo GAA.
The Cathaoirleach of the Castlebar Municipal District, cllr Donna Sheridan spoke to Midwest Radio’s Rian Bailey this afternoon.
