Over a month on from Storm Eowyn and there is still numerous telecom poles down across the Erris region.
That’s according to local Fine Gael councillor Gerry Coyle who says there are a number of poles overhanging the road which is a serious safety concern.
Cllr. Coyle says Mayo County Council or the Road Safety should have some power to enforce that this work is carried out without delay.
He says residents and businesses in the Erris area have been seriously impacted by the recent storms.
