€55 million has been confirmed for the Ballina Flood Relief Scheme.
That’s according to Minister Dara Calleary, who confirmed the news today at the sod turning of the Crossmolina Scheme.
The funding will allow the scheme in Ballina to go to planning stage.
Minister Dara Calleary told Midwest News Editor Teresa O’Malley that it will take time for the planning stage to be completed, but it’s a step in the right direction….
The Department has invested over €2.5 million into the new sports ground project.
