The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine is to hold an in-person Farmer Clinic in County Mayo in the coming weeks.
This event is designed to assist farmers in making their online applications for the Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and other area-based scheme.
The BISS Farmer Clinics take place from 10:00am to 4:30pm, with staff from the Department on hand to provide one-to-one support to assist farmers to submit their scheme applications well in advance of the closing date of May 15.
The event will take place in the Great National Hotel, Ballina on Thursday April 10.
There will also be events at the Oranmore Lodge Hotel (Wednesday April 2), Athlone Springs Hotel (Tuesday April 8), and the Ard Rí House Hotel, Tuam (Wednesday April 9).
