A presentation by the Claremorris Historical Society will this Friday demonstrate what life was like in the town in the middle of the twentieth century, as part of Culture Night.
The presentation, at 7.45pm in Claremorris Town Hall, will feature full colour images of dozens people, shops and streetscapes taking in the town between 1926 and 1960.
The images, which were restored by Andrew Newman, will be on display in the Town Hall Studio prior to the presentation, which will be given by local historian Colmán Ó Raghallaigh.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
