Castlebar Primary School are hosting a Cultural Diversity Evening event today.
It takes place on their senior campus from 5pm until 7pm this evening.
This will be an opportunity for the entire school community to meet and to celebrate their diversity.
There will be representatives from many of the clubs and organisations around the town.
The school is hoping families will take this opportunity to find out more about joining a club that you or your child may be interested in.
They will also have demonstrations from some parents and children of traditional music, dance and crafts from around the world.
Castlebnar Primary School is also encouraging parents and children to wear their national dress to celebrate their country of origin.
Teas & coffees will be served, with a choice of desserts made by parents.
Midwest Radio have been speaking to a number of people involved in this evening’s event, principal Joe Carty and teachers Catherine O’Driscoll and Lorraine Davies.
