Thirteen operators of so-called ‘dodgy boxes’ have been shut down.
Legal notices were served across Dublin, Cork, Donegal, Offaly, Limerick, Louth, Clare, Westmeath and Laois.
The Federation Against Copyright Theft says it resulted in the illegal streaming services being terminated.
The body also believes many aren’t aware the networks are linked to organised crime.
