On Monday evening 18th May, Claremorris Historical Society will host Through the streets of Claremorris 1900-1925, an illustrated talk to mark the recent publication of the 1926 Census, in Claremorris Town Hall at 7.45pm.

This  event will allow those in attendance to step back in time and experience life in Claremorris as it was at the beginning of the twentieth century just before the census was taken.

The presentation will feature full colour images of dozens of people and places taken in Claremorris in the early twentieth century, which have been restored by Andrew Newman and local historian Colmán Ó Raghallaigh will present the stories behind each of them. Admission is free and all are welcome.
