Some children in care are spending years in unregulated Special Emergency Arrangements.

They’re meant to be temporary, but one child has spent more than three years in SEAs.

These placements can be in private rented accommodation, hotels and B&Bs, according to the latest The Journal Investigates report.

Its Investigative Journalist, Conor O’Carroll says vulnerable children have nowhere else to go:
