Calls for fuel and energy supports

There are calls for the government to bring in financial support, such as energy credits or a cut in carbon tax, in the wake of rising prices.

The cost of fuel and home heating oil has soared in the past week as a result of the conflict in Iran.

Here, there have been allegations of price gouging by forecourts and government have been urged by opposition parties to help consumers with the rising costs.
