Dereliction and vacancy levels were a hot topic at a recent meeting of the Claremorris-Swinford Municipal District, when the town’s Bridge Street was described as a ‘black spot’ for dereliction.
Fine Gael Councilor Michael Burke brought forward a number of motions at the meeting concerning Ballinrobe, including the installation of a number of loading bays, to seek funding for playground upgrades and to implement a plan for the urgent regeneration of Bridge Street.
