A local councillor says a plan needs to be put in place for the old Scouts Den in Ballyhaunis, to bring the area back into the community.
The building itself has been condemned, which means it will need to be demolished and cannot just be renovated.
Councillor Alma Gallagher says the building itself is an eyesore in the town, and people locally want to see something done with the area.
She says works at the building need to be included as part of the Town Centre First plan for Ballyhaunis.
