The time for talking is over and the government must now intervene and demand that Eir restore the phone lines and broadband service for its customers across the region left without the service since Storm Eoywn.
That’s the view of Kiltimagh based Fianna Fail councillor Adrian Forkan.
The councillor raised the issue again at the monthly meeting of the Claremorris/ Swinford Municipal District held yesterday at Ireland West Airport.
He has asked local Minister, his colleague, the Minister for Social Protection Dara Calleary to immediately intervene and demand that Eir restore these essential services.
