Boths routes now fully open to traffic

The N59 road at Coolaney, on the Main Sligo to Ballina road has re-opened to traffic. It was closed for a period earlier this morning , after a collision in which a vehicle left the road. The driver of the vehicle was taken from the scene to Sligo University Hospital.

While significant traffic delays occurred earlier this morning on the N60  -on  the main Balla to Claremorris Road at Brize,  following a road collision. Gardai say the road is now clear, and is fully re-opened to traffic.
